Courier 23 + dial and s meter lamp question

I have picked up an old Courier 23 + in very good condition but the channel
selector / s-meter lamp is out. It is an H47 lamp but I cannot find any
cross reference to a newer lamp number. The bayonet socket provides 6 volts.
Does anyone know what a suitable replacement bulb would be for it? Thanks
for any asssistance. Mike.
