EA8 - Canary Islands: George, EA8/GM0IIO, is on vacation in Playa Blanca,
Lanzarote (WLOTA LH-0099) through 31. August and will be mainly on
SSB on 20 m with FT-857 and Vertical. QSL via home call.

KH0 - Northern Mariana Islands: Satoshi, N2QP, will be on Saipan (OC-086)
4. through 8. September as KH0/N2QP and plans to be in the All Asian
DX Phone Contest (September 6/7th). QSL direct only to Satoshi Kouya,
2-7-5 Iwamoto-cho, Chiyoda, Tokyo 101-0032, Japan.

OH0 - Aland-Islands: 23. August through 7. September Peter, DL5FF, and
Siegfried, DL9ZE, will be on the air from Eckeroe. Peter will use
RTTY and CW mainly, Siegfried will be on RTTY and SSB on 20, 15, 40,
and 30 m. QSL via DARC QSL-Buro or direct. Find further informations
by QRZ.com.

S79 - Seychelles: Tom, DJ6TF, will stay on La Digue Island September 2nd
through 14th for vacation. If he is lucky to get a licence he will
prefer 30 m and RTTY.

T2 - Tuvalu: Aki, JA1KAJ, will visit Tuvalu September 2nd through 8th.
You will find him in the All Asian Contest and on 160 through 10 m
with SSB, CW, RTTY and perhaps PSK31 & SSTV. Aerials will be longwire
for the lowbands and a Yagi for 20 through 10 m. He did not get his
call sign yet. Aki confirms his QSOs after his return.

VP6 - Pitcairn: Maybe you wondered about the disappearing of Tom (VP6TC)
and Betty (VP6YL) Christian who used to be very active residents
before. JJ8DEN reports that the couple emigrated to New Zealand.

XW - Laos: During the last days Bruce, XW1B, was very active on 40, 30 and
20 m using CW and RTTY. He will be on a Stateside vacation August 28th
through late September. QSL manager is E21EIC.

ZD8 - Ascension: Steve, G3ZVW, will be ZD8N August 27th through September
11th again on Ascension (AF-003) using 100 Watts and a dipol. Look
for him in his eveing hours and on weekends with SSB, CW and RTTY.
QSL via G3ZVW, direct or via buro.

ZS8 - Marion & Prince Edward: Petrus, ZS8T, now is on Marion Island since
two months, but he has to spend much more time on his job than
supposed. Additionally he has problems on tuning the Stepp IR-Vertical.
So he did only one single QSO till now. He will be on the island for
another seven months and we hope he will be able to spend some time
on DXing then. Look for updates on
http://zs8t.net/ .

3A - Monaco: Find Patrice, 3A/F5RBB, August 31st through September 10th
on 40, 20, 15 and 10 m. QSL to his home call direct or via buro.

7Q - Malawi: August 29th through September 11th Ely, IN3VZE, will be
"holiday style" on the West bank of Lake Malawi as 7Q7CE on SSB and
digital modes. QSL via home call, direct or buro.

8Q - Maldives: Married since 40 and ham radio license since 30 years - an
anniversary that is used by Werner, DL1BKK, and Brigitte, DL1BKI,
to present 8Q7KK August 29th through September 19th from the Island of
Kuramathi (Rasdu Atoll, AS-013). They will use an IC-7000 and wire
antennas. QSL, for this activity in 2008 only, via DL1BKK, direct or
via buro. The call was issued several times before, last time in 2001
to HA2SX.

9V - Singapo 9V1F1 (9V1 formula one) will represent the Formula 1 Grand
Prix taking place in Singapore September 28th with an activity
from August 26th through September 30th. Singapore Amateur Radio
Transmitting Society will start buro QSLing in October.

Pacific Tour: Find Ulli, DL2AH, and Willi, DJ7RJ, in September through
November 2008 touring the Pacific. They estimate an arrival on Tokelau
in the timeframe September 2nd to 5th. Willi has ben on the Tokelaus
before and estimates to reactivate his former call ZK3MW. They will
continue on Nukunonu (OC-048) until September 29th, followed by Apia,
Samoa, for the further planning. They will continue on different routes.
Willi has time until October 20th to visit another Island, perhaps Wallis
& Futuna or Marquesas. Plans or depending on flight plans and lodging
possibilities.
Ulli will continue to Manua Islands (OC-077), US-Samoa, for October 7th
through 27th time frame as KH8/DL2AH. Finally he intends to go to Tonga,
October 29th through November 9th, call to be announced. Ulli primarily
will be on vacation with his FT-897 and Windom dipole. As before he will
be on SSB mainly, with some RTTY. QSOs will be confirmed after his return,
direct or via Buro.

Netherlands, special call: Look for PA90CORUS September 1st through 28th
on all bands and modes. The call reminds to 90 years history of CORUS
Stahl Ijmuiden. QSL manager is PB7CW and you find more informations on
www.pb7cw.net/corus .

Scotland/Norway, special calls: GS8R is activated on 10 through 80 m using
CW and SSB vom Orkney Amateur Radio Club (www.eu009.com/) through August
31st to commemorate the 850th anniversary of the death of the Scandinavian
Earl St. Rognvald, founder of St Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall.
QSL direct only via GM0WED.
From his Norwegian birthplace Bringsvaerd special call LA8EARL will be on
the air. These QSLs will be confirmed via LA4A.
