Now that I have some time on my hands, I'm finally getting my cards in
order to submit a DXCC application; some of the cards go back to the 1960s and they're for 3 different calls. Does the process for the date as well as the call, so that my old "OK" contacts count as Czechoslovakia and the new ones as Czech Republic? Does it make sense out of the hash of prefixes used by the various Soviet and ex-Soviet republics from before and after the breakup? I had to spend some time myself with old DXCC checklists to get the countries right in my logging program. -- Bert Hyman W0RSB St. Paul, MN |
