Stan, LZ1GC & Emil, DL8JJ will activate Solomon Isl. and Temotu Province as H44GC and H40GC on all HF bands, CW / SSB / RTTY between 24 September 2016Â* -Â* 21 October 2016. Our focus will be low bands!Â*

This DXpedition will consist of 3 stages:Â*

1.Â* 24 September 2016 - 03 October 2016 - H44GC activity by Stan, LZ1GC & Emil, DL8JJ.

The team will operate from Honiara, Guadalcanal Isl.(IOTA OC - 047), Grid Loc: QI90XN. The team will useÂ* 2 pieces Kenwood TS - 480 SAT transceivers and linear amplifiers: ACOM - 1011 & ACOM - 600S.The antennas will be: GP on 160 & 80 meters, EXP. GP on 40 - 10 meters, including WARC bands and a HEXBEAM on 20 - 10 meters. This stage of activity will be with 2 transmiters, both operate on different bands and modes. The activity will be on CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK.

On 04 October 2016, Emil (DL8JJ) will travel back to Germany.

2. 04 October 2016 - 17 October 2016 - H40GC activity by Stan, LZ1GC. Stan will operate from Lata, Nendo Island (IOTA OC -100), Grid Loc: RH29UG.

During this activity Stan (LZ1GC) will use Kenwood TS - 480 SAT transceiver and linear amplifier ACOM - 600 S (700 watts). The antennas will be GP on 160 & 80 meters and EXP. GP onÂ* 40 - 10 meters, including WARC bands. The activity will be on all HF bands Â*Â* (160 - 10 meters), CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK.

3. 18 October 2016 - 21 October 2016 - H44GC, again activity only by Stan, LZ1GC. Stan will operate from Honiara, Island of Guadalcanal (IOTA OC - 047), Grid Loc: QI90XN. The equipment will be the same as during H40GC activity.

On 22 October 2016, Stan (LZ1GC) will travel back to Bulgaria.
