Default October 2017: Ionospheric Propagation Predictions

Last month (September) saw good openings thanks to the Equinox, which will last until mid-October.

Solar activity is expected to be at low levels, no protonic event in sight, and therefore the general conditions in October will be quiet.

Solar activity can show˙sudden but short developments, so no events such as Flares and consequent CMEs are excluded in this˙descending phase˙of the Solar Cycle.
