Anyone have the URL on the tip sheet? 73 de Dick, AA5VU Dick, Just a guess, but if I remember correctly, the CDE rotors' meters just measure the voltage across a 500 ohm potentiometer. What I would do is to disconnect the meter from the rotor and measure the resistance across the pot and swing arm. Then connect again and move it, say, 90 degrees or so, then measure again. If you don't get a reading under 500 ohms and/or it doesn't change, you have a problem in the rotor. If it reads ok and changes, then the problem is likely in the control. 73, Larry W1HJF I was also going to venture a WAG that the indicator pot (or wiring to it) may have "gone south."
