Default conditions

Yikes, if you're a DXer & you weren't on this weekend, you aren't a DXer!

Worked a pile of EU on 10m CW & RTTY this morning. D2PFN and EA9IB for
RTTY new ones. Then, a handful of JAs this evening - would have been
more but ended up in ragchews with a Nevada station (rare DX for 10m
this time in the cycle!) and a local 30km away. Then heard VR2BG on 12m
(and worked him on 17). Plus FP on 80 for a new one on that band. And
a strong UA0 on 20m RTTY. Gonna be a busy week for QSLing.

ARGHHH!
And I was stuck doing other things all day,
and never had a chance to turn the radio on!
Will do so right now.

I 'm just happy to qso with vk0dx, Finn. 5:45z when the rest of the east
coast was asleep.
Very unusual propagation actually got thru and recieved a 59 signal report.
Extreme unusual conditions had to occur for me to hear him with my G5RV,
via South Pole propagation. Definetly nice weekend for dx for me.

11 Oct 23:25 - 14.192 - Cameroon - USB
16 Oct 22:10 - 21.295 - Chesterfield Is. - USB
19 Oct 23:20 - 28.440 - Chesterfield Is - USB
20 Oct 00:48 - 14.070 - Cameroon - PSK31
24 Oct 22:43 - 21.240 - Minami Torishima - USB - Grey Line??
24 Oct 23:06 - 21.241 - Saipan - USB - Grey Line??

The 10 meter contact on 19 Oct was a real surprise as was the PSK31 contact
on 20 Oct.

Because if we hadn't, I'd have to be something like "KW4XX".

(think I'd have stayed in Wisconsin if we had to do that!)
