On eHam several Icom IC-746 Pro users mention having to send their
rigs in for repair due to no TX and other issues. I am leaning toward the Kenwood from a reliablility point of view eventhough the Icom has slightly better numbers and 2m band.... "Max Donoghue" wrote in message ... "Homac" wrote in message m... I am having a heck of a time choosing between these three rigs. Any personal experiences or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Yaesu FT-920 (incl YF116A & FM-1) Kenwood TS-570S (incl YK-88SN-1 SSB filter) Icom IC-746 Pro (no addons) I am looking for reliability vs bells and whistles..... Thanks in advance..... I currently run the FT920. Quietest receiver I have ever heard, next to my TS850S. |
