Default tr-7800

I have picked up a dead tr-7800 at a junk sale

The price was good - the transmit was dead but apparently the receive
worked.

When I got it home I could hear static but the led frequency display
did not even power up.

I can not locate even a circuit diagram on the web - can anybody point
me at any resource that might be useful in getting this transmitter to
at least receive.

thanks
Bruce
