Default Gardiner 3.4 - 4.2 GHZ Multicoupler: Ham Equip????

I bought a Gardiner Communications Corp. 3.4 - 4.2 GHZ Multicoupler at
a flea market today. Is this part used for amateur radio, or is it for
something else such as satellite communications?

Probably was used for driving a bank of TVRO receivers from a single LNA
at a cable TV head end.
