I picked up on Ebay a used Yaesu 757GX. First question is on the display. When the Clarifier is off and in VFO mode, should there be a digit displayed where the channel number would be if memory was selected? NO. Secondly, it wont hold channel memory so it must be the battery is dead. Where would I locate it? Thanks Steve n8nyu I believe it is a solder on round flat watch type battery located on a pc board behind the front panel. It should be on the bottom middle area I think. Ed |
