Back into amateur radio after having to sell it all cause of a divorce.
I picked up on Ebay a used Yaesu 757GX.
First question is on the display. When the Clarifier is off and in VFO

mode,
should there be a digit displayed where the channel number would be if
memory was selected?

Secondly, it wont hold channel memory so it must be the battery is dead.
Where would I locate it?
Thanks Steve n8nyu

YOu do not get an extra digit. If you press the up or down buttons on the
mic you will see that it will tune in 10 hz steps as it will take 10 clicks
to move th displayed digit.

For a manual to download for free on the rig go he

and look way down the page past the first listing of Yaesu.
