Default G-type antenna adaptor?

Anyone know the style of 75 ohm FM coaxial jack found on several
FM tuners (JVC, Sony)? It looks like an unthreaded F connector
(female) but is larger. I'm trying to connect it to RG-6 coax with F
connector.

At first I thought it was a PAL (Belling-Lee/IEC169-2) socket. A
trip
to Radio-Shack for a PAL-to-F connector didn't work. The barrel is
larger than PAL and the stinger is more narrow.

Based on physical measurements the tuner jack seems close to a 'G'
style. If so something like an Amphenol 531-40010
(http://65.244.34.140/pdf/257.pdf) should work but no distribuitors
seem to have one.

Am I on the right track and/or does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks.
