I have built a few. I don't particularly like the order that they use to
insert the parts. I have built dozens of HeathKits and their way makes a lot
more sense to me: put the shortest parts on first, then go to the taller
ones. Ramsey tends to put all the parts in one area, making the board
impossible to sit flat.

But the few I built did run just fine.

Of the ramsey kits I have assembled, I have to say I was overwhelmingly
underwhelmed. Save your money.

Ditto...they're marginal quality, marginal design, and marginal (or worse)
performance.

They are probably good kits for a yongster, to get them interested in
radio, or find out how interested they are. But I won't buy any more
of them for serious use.

Only thing is, after assembling the kit then finding out it dosen't work
as described, they may be discouraged.
