![]() "Ken Bjorklund" wrote in message ... Several years ago there was a external plugin module marketed for the 706 series radios that provided a 10 watt carrier output from the radio. I have not seen them advertised lately and was wondering if they are still available since I'm planning on getting a new 706mk2G. Any info appreciated. 73 Ken KK4BH Heck, I'll make you one for $10 + shipping. They aren't that hard to make. As a matter of fact, I give them away to customers who buy Carolina Cyclone antennas (screwdriver) antennas from me! I would make 'em for Kenwood TS50's but the plug is sort of funny and I can't find any to match. I've got 2 706's, each equipped with the little module. Works great! 73 Jerry K4KWH |
