I am friends with the fellow that owns Kenwood Service Center East.
It is located in Virginia Beach VA off of Lynhaven Parkway. He is a really cool Ham and if you have problems, he will help you himself, although it may take a while for him to get back to you. In addition to his work with that franchised service center, he is in the Coast Guard Reserve and was called up a year ago so he spends a lot of time in Norfolk as an east coast communications specialist with the Guard. Chuck Ripple (WA4HHG) and his people will treat you right. Best 73 Patrick W4PHM "Al W2JUV" wrote in message ... Have Rx problems with the VHF side of my old Kenwood TM-733 and looking for suggestions on a good service shop. Preferably in the eastern half of the U.S. Anyone have experience with the Kenwood ServiceCenter in Virginia?
