The strobe light tells you the position of the timing mark on the pulley wheel when the plug sparks (several degrees before TDC). To find the position of TDC, you remove one of the spark plugs, and note the ballooning of a soap bubble across the hole. But happy days? In retrospect - HUMBUG! -- Ian |
