Hello everyone! This is probably a silly question, but I've just started looking into WIRES-X and have had a hard time finding info on the topic.
Here's the question: when I connect to a local node then navigate to a room by entering the 5 digit code, am I the only one who receives and transmits to that room or did I enter the entire node into that room so that everyone on the repeater receives and transmits to the new room? The reason I ask is that after researching WIRES I found several references to checking to make sure no one else was using the node and being sure to return it to the channel (room?) it was on before you used it. If it makes any difference, I'm using an FTM-100. Thanks for any info or resources you can provide. Best, Joe KJ7DGC |
