Just purchased an FT-60R. In the sunlight, it has a discoloration on
the display that sometimes obscures. (Sometimes worse than other times.) With polarized sunglasses on, this problem is severely exacerbated! I went to the retailer, who examined several of these -- all had the same problem. Is there a fix for this? |

(Sometimes worse than other times.) With polarized sunglasses on, this problem is severely exacerbated! I went to the retailer, who examined several of these -- all had the same problem. Is there a fix for this? The LCD displays work by polarizing the light (very simple example). When you use the polarized sunglasses they block the already polzrized light. The short of it is that it difficult to use the glasses with that kind of display. |
