Yaesu FT-60R Display Polarization Problem

Just purchased an FT-60R. In the sunlight, it has a discoloration on
the display that sometimes obscures. (Sometimes worse than other
times.) With polarized sunglasses on, this problem is severely
exacerbated! I went to the retailer, who examined several of these --
all had the same problem. Is there a fix for this?
