Hi all,

I've been shopping around for something to get on 6m before summer is
over. I recently found a FTV-650B 6m transverter that would go with my
FT101B outfit on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...18093 83&rd=1

I bid $100 and was planning to maybe go to $150. I was looking good on
the auction until last night. I checked in this morning and the bidding
has reached $255. This seems a little steep since I bought a my FT101B
station complete with the VFO and phone patch/speaker, mic, extra final
tubes, etc., for about $350. Does anyone here know how much these
transverters are worth? I've looked all over the web and can't seem to
get any idea. Any input is much appreciated.

As there were not that many made, I would say they are worth whatever
someone is willing to pay. Just like a collector item. I decided to trade
off my six meter stuff for a low band rig that had 6 meters and 100 watts
output for the reason that I could have six meters and use it as a backup
rig for the other lowband rig.
