Alincom DJ-596 software

I went to the Shelby hanmfest last weekend. At the Alinco booth I was given
an Alinco Catalog.

On page 10 of the catalog there is a listing for the "ERW-4C" "PC
Programming Cable".

I don't see any listing for DJ-596 software.
Also, I dont see a mention of this in my user's manual.

Is this only to be used with the EJ-47U "Digital Board"?

Am I missing something here????
