Default schematic for TS480 TUNE CONTROL

very nice setup, your rig
my antenna is about 35mtrs from shack, I don't have any trouble tuning it
now, so the turbo-tuner and the dc supply from the 480 should be Ok ??

news Get a Turbo-Tuner... Its really the way to go.... I have the 480HX
with a Turbo-Tuner on a Tarheel M-200 and its really a great set-up.
Its almost completely "plug and play". I have pics posted in the Yahoo

no worries I was a member before, I will rejoin, I cancelled all groups
subs,
ok well all BIG antennas and BIG AMPS have GONE, everything was rotatable
once, well had a spack attack and a silent protest in rgds the hobby, and
just getting soemthing to have a play with,
counterpoise is a fully tuned radial test bed, 10 radials for each band
the 160/80/40/20 Mtr radials are 1 7/8' x 1/8 " Power Station EARTH
MATTING ROLL, I would have at the very least 12 cwt of copper in the
ground, have a 1500MK2 mounted on a 2" ally tube 7ft 6" above gnd, with a
2" x 1/4 " flat strap to gnd hehehe, with 4 x 24" SS CAP Top hat tig
rods, above the coil with a 3ft whip, still too long to tune above 18Mhz,
but working on a happy medium, still got 4" of coil in the Mast at 3.670
Mhz, with above setup, should trim the CAP HAT a little,
I should mention I had HS-1000 in my car back , uuhhmm not long after
Jim started making them, would have been numbered in the 100's I was
talked out of it by a friend haahah, some friend caught me at a weak
moment back in 2004.
I would have had a TARHEEL but Cindy wanted $275.00 to post to VK, I got a
MK2 1500 posted from VA insured for 400.00 for 75.00 USD, Global express,
42"x5" @13 llbs, 75.00 USD anyhow thats life
I appreciate the info, unsure of what 480 as yet, don't need 200WS and
don't need TUNER ?? ahaha,
need 150ws unit without tuner ahahah

Ahhhh....I see, you had a serious case of the "dumb ****s". I did that once,
but not quite to that extent.... I kept the basic rigs and some wire
antennas, a power supply.... just the bare bones station to get on the air
in an emergency. I had gotten rid of all my packet stuff, tower, antennas,
SB200, a couple of spare 2m and dual band rigs and handies.... then there
was all the stuff in the junk boxes.... that was the worst part of it.
