yes - ft480-r
tnx - well managed to download the book from dk.mods .there is a fault/flow chart for no tx ... . the relay is top of the list but there looks like a input from the ppl - if its not locked then it wont go to tx .. now the rigs 700 hz off freq (LF) ... so may be needs the freq needs setting and all will be ok .. |

It sounds more like the PLL, but it's a long long time since I looked in the guts of my 480 or 780. I think I have the actual service manual for it at home somewhere so I'll try and hunt it down tonight. Ken |
