I wonder if anyone else has found that it takes a long time (months) to go through the apparently simple process of joining USAF MARS. Feel free to e-mail replies to , or post here. Thanks! 73/Tom/NE1R I wrote an email to USAF MARS, got a reply the next day, took care of the paperwork via email and am now waiting for my training assignment and callsign. I've been out of town all week on a business trip, so I presume whatever had to be sent to me via snail mail has already arrived by now. No problem so far. Army MARS never returned my several email messages. Tough luck for them. MARS is the most boring crap I've ever heard. It's outmoded and dying as it's members kick off one at a time. It's like listening to a car rust. |
