Specs on era 1960 mobile transmitters
I am looking for specifications of the following units:
Motorola Model FMT-41 Motorola Model T-31BAT Motorola Model U-41GGT Motorola Model T-41GGT General Electric Model MT-13-N. My particular interest lies with their modulation mode. Any leads would be appreciated. |

Near the bottom of the report, explains what the author found. Most likely they were "narrow" 5 kHz FM or could have been 15 kHz FM modulation, many two way radio systems were converting to "narrow" 5 kHz scheme about then from 15 kHz "wide band", so the FCC could allocate more channels in the same "band". JJJHS Thanks for the information. Deviation, whether 30, 15 or 5 khz, is not a issue since heterodynes produced by a modulated station with an unmodulated carrier would indicate what deviation they used. My concern lies with the report of IBM and others that provides convincing evidence of reception by a AM receiver. For details see: http://www.members.aol.com/hdblenner/anotherlook.htm You can find the complete IBM document at http://www.jfk-online.com/acousibm04.html Thanks again.
