I have a SWL friend who owns a Kenwood R5000 receiver.
It has developed a problem with the main tuning ?.......The shaft which the main knob is pushed unto and held in place by a small screw has jammed/stuck solid. He is afraid to try and force the shaft to turn. Can anyone help with the fix or suggest the way forward please. Maybe its a known problem? 73 de Victor Gi4LKG --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
