Default KENWOOD TS450 INTERMITENT PROBLEM TRANSMISSION

I have an intermitent problem on all bands with my TS450S. While
transmitting on ssb the swr goes up to about 3 to 1 from almost flat,
alc
indicator goes full scale and of course rf output drops to about five
watts.
When this is happening you can stop talking into the mike and there is
still
RF going to the antenna.
It seems that there is some internal occillation that is causing this.
i have tried every conceivible combination of grounds, antennas, feed
lines
so i think it is a problem with the transceiver.
Has anyone had this problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in
advance for reply to
