I have heard lots of Canadian stations, but none from Mexico. It would be nice if our friends from south of Border would participate. Because the mexicans couldnt find a set of jumper cables to get the radios started........ Well, I dont find that funny at all. Apparently, you are unaware of the high level of poverty that exists in the country to our south. The sad thing is that such a statement is probably more true than it was humorous. I don't have any recent statistics but in the mid 1990's, it took only about $800/year [per person] for an average Mexican to cover all their living expenses in rural Mexico. With a family size of 6, due to sharing of housing and utilities (where available), that cost dropped to about $600/person. |
