Default NMO vs. UHF

Putting a 2m/70cm antenna system in truck. NMO or UHF antenna mount?
Does NMO seal out weather better than UHF? Your thoughts appreciated
on this topic.

Thank you,
Dale

NMO reduces loss in the upper frequencies better than
UHF or other typical connections.

I've used several NMO mounts over the years. With dual band 2m/70cm, 2m
quarter waves and 5/8 wave. Never had a leak and two of them were in the
middle of the roof and neither leaked over the more than 8 years I had
the cars.
