The Yank Bachelor's degree is roughly equivalent to what the
Brit "A" Levels were 30 years ago. You need to get a Yank Master's to get anywhere near the Brit Bachelor - except, of course if we're talking about Open University because in the early days you could do 6 unrelated elementary subjects - one per year- and still get a degree. Because of these early OU degrees, one has to consider that _ALL_ OU degrees are the equivalent of 6 'O' levels, and all of them in Cookery. Reg Edwards wrote: What's a BSEE ?
