Default Need Help w/Kenwood TM741 Light Problem

All the lights will not come on. The rest of the radio works great. Could
it be
that all the lights went out or is there another bigger problem?

Yes it could be just the lights or could be something worse!

Pull the cct diagram out and figure out how the "lights" work. If the
thing is a simple LCD backlight perhaps the bulb is blown. If it is a
microcontroller driven matrix array there could be anything wrong
between the uP and the matrix chips. It could also be some supply
voltage that is specific to providing power to the lights!

Do you have a cct diagram? I dont know the radio.
