Default A Trip Down Memory Lane

In the mid 80's I would post and follow this newsgroup. People would
ask Ham Radio related questions and other hams would respond in a
helpful, friendly, and respectful manner. It was a fantastic newsgroup.

Unfortunately, as time passes things change!

I use to read it in the 90s and it was pretty good then too.
Looks like the lowlifes have driven away all the hams.

I have to disagree. It was just as bad in '92 onward as now.

The policy group was created to take the code debate off of .misc, but
a negative result of that action was that most of the educated folks
ended up leaving .misc in favor of .policy.
