about type approved sets running at more than 5W! I mean, if they run at
more than 5W it makes little difference if they are type approved or not!!!


Not many handhelds do more than 5Watts at UHF freqs

If they do then don't expect the battery to last too long if your TX!

I humbly hang my head in shame and blame my newsreader that did not make me
read the whole thread before frimly inserting my foot into my mouth..
