If this is just a basic IF transformer, you could just buy a radio
and extract the transformer. The radios will be available locally,
unlike just the IF transformer (unless you are lucky enough to be in a
city that still has a store that would carry them).

Buy a radio at a garage sale or a place like the Salvation Army,
and it won't even cost much.

Hundreds of sources. You looking for traditional cans used in tubes
equipment or PC board mount (transistors radios)

Gold Mine sell 20 can for $ 2.50 (PC mount versions)

Local hamfests here I see NOS 455 kHZ and 10.7 MHz IF cans (case of them) --
in chassis mount style (tube radios).

A Google search should help.
