He won't see this reply. He is an Earthlink subscriber,
as am I (Netcom is an Earthlink company). For the past
several days Earthlink's news servers have not been updating
messages. Only a very few groups work, the rest have no
messages newer than about 8 December. You can download
existing messages and post but new messages just don't show
up.
I've been using Google groups and am now using a freebee
Teranews account.
Earthlink is a godawful provider but one hears horror
stories about most of the others too.
