I do remember that EMP was one of the things discussed for ham emergency gear. I'm sure that our (US) military protects for EMP, but I doubt it is by using tube equipment. Likely something more modern. Fancy Shielding? Perhaps you know the technology currently used? In Desert Storm they were breaking out KWM-2a to replace radios that were getting nailed from static in the blowing sand. |
