In article , Scott wrote: it appears the site (tick.usno.navy.mil) that is used for time updates is down Scott- If tick is down, try tock.usno.navy.mil. Fred K4DII Hi Fred, Actually, I did that with the same results. Several others didn't seem to work, but I found one in St. Paul, MN that works fine. Others have reported that "tick" is working fine for them. I suspect something with my ISP as I have had quite a few problems viewing websites that others send me a link to and I get the "site could not be found" error message. I've called my ISP and they say that everything is working OK. Some have suggested my firewall may be blocking sites, etc., but the tick site had been working fine up until April 29th when I got the last update and I haven't dinked around with any router settings here for ages...mystifying ![]() Scott N0EDV |
