Dip meters do couple to conductors in the near field.
Current density of resistive wire does increease with depth. Call that
reverse skin effect if you like?

€€ That was not what he was asserting. His position was that the RF-R of
Ni-Cr resistance-wire behaved opposite to
that of Cu wire at HF. Do you agree Brian?
