Look around the "FAQ" for the sci.electronics.repair newsgroup, which
is at http://www.repairfaq.org I din't know if Sam put in a typical
power supply schematic in the section on switching supplies, but it's
one place to look. When he was writing the repair column for
Electronics Now and then Poptronics, much of the material was from the FAQ,
though I think he sometimes added some graphic material. So likely
when he covered switching supplies in the magazine, there was a schematic
for a typical supply.
