Default Audio Cable

I need to wire RCA and Phone plugs for my keyer. I have 24 AWG audio cable, 2
conductors plus shield, that is too large for that application. Is there a
smaller gauge available? Is there an alternative cable if a smaller gauge is
not available?

I need a source for this cable. Internet/mail order is ok.

Thanks

The old single conductor shielded "Microphone cable" with a braided
shield was commonly used with these connectors. Belden, Alpha,
Consolidated wire and other companies made the cable, and you should be
able to ge a little at a music store that does repair, form a commercial
sound business, or any electronics parts house that sells cut cable.

It used to be sold on spools as small as 25 feet, but I haven't
bought any in years. I may have some scraps, but I would have to look
for it.
