wrote: looking to make my own little tin plate screened boxes..have been making them, but getting a nice clean tight fold is tricky..has anyone got plans of a mini folding jig??has to be able to adjust width of fold as will be used on different sized boxes..typical size 60mm x 50mm x 25mm. with 2 lids.. up to 150mm x 50 mm x 25mm tin plate 0.2mm thickness.. I've not tried it as I can't find any suitable sheet metal, but aparently if you score the inside of the fold line with a scalpel blade then the bend goes easier. Where are you finding the sheet tinplate?. hth Mike W, G8NXD |
