Hi,
I have seen some DRM projects on the net, but none about how to homebrew a FM/DAB receiver. Is it such difficult to design and build one of them ?. DAB receivers are now generally available in commercial form, so I think there is also room for experimenters. A discrete-component DAB receiver is not a project to be undertaken lightly. On the other hand here in the UK, DAB receivers are now very common in the stores due I believe to an outbreak of chip-sets by such luminaries as Philips. So Google for Philips/SAA3500/PDF and you should get a feeling for what is involved. Cheers - Joe |
