Yes, I did see that. Rosin flux in orbit around the solder !

Did you also notice that they were using a Weller TCP series iron (50 year
old Magnistat design).
Quite a few good reasons for choosing this specific model for space
station - KIS - easy to repair - virtually foolproof -
needs only 24 volt (or 12 volt) bus to operate .. with no need for base unit
with electronics.
