I know someone with a maths degree who claimed that
e^(-jwt) was a function that decreased with increasing t, and cited the maths being taught to 13-year-olds as being evidence! (That he also has an electronics degree and failed to recognise the significance of "j" in a discussion about complex cisoids is priceless!
