Default Help please choosing transmitter/reciever pair

Greetings Group,
This question may be better placed on the radio group and I'll post
there too. And so here it is. The question: I am looking for a a
transmitter/reciever pair to use for transmitting data 20 feet. The
reason for the radio interest is to avoid cables. I've been to the
Maxim and Linx websites. It seems like the Linx devices won't work
because I think I need to transmit two data streams. The data would be
coming from a chinese digital scale. The pinout for the scale is at
this link:

The solution to the transmitter reciever combo must be low cost, low
power consumption, and small size. The antenna needs to be flat and
enclosed in the transmitter case. Please, if anyone has any
suggestions, or can tell me what to look for, I'd really appreciate
it.
Thanks,
Eric R Snow
