Lowering the noise figure in a preamp

Real good advice, I got the Cushman about a month ago and havent found
a sinad meter yet. There is a hamfest in western NC this weekend so if
i dont find one there i will scour ebay for one along with a operators
manual for the Cushman.

Where in NC?
