I think some early Motorola auto radios worked off DC directly and had
tubes in the RF and transistor audio PA's. You might look for some vintage auto radio schematics for tube numbers. I thing the 12AX7 tube might be included. wrote: Anybody know any tubes...st or gt shape preferred that will work on 12 volts plate voltage for small 1 tube regens...possibly a stage or two of amplification also.
