Most noticeable event this month is Lyrids shower, peaking on
April 22, 11 UT this year. ZHR value is medium (around 20 hr-1)
but may vary up to 90 hr-1 during rare strong displays.
Not only ZHR is variable, but also Time of Maximum and shower’s
Peak Length are. Time of maximum has been found to vary from
year to year in the range sol=32°0-32°45, equivalent to 2009
April 22, 3h to14h UT. Peak is relatively sharp but its Full-
Width-Half-Maximum time is strongly variable form year to year.
Anyway, the very best rates are typically achieved for just a
