For the past week or so, I've been hearing a constant carrier on
14.0MHz, as exactly on frequency as my rig can determine. It varies in strength through the day, changes strength when I switch between my R5 vertical and 40 meter dipole, and disappears when I switch out the antennas. Even though nothing new has been introduced into the house, I went through the exercise of unplugging or turning things off, but the signal remains. Anybody else hearing it, or is it something local? -- Bert Hyman W0RSB St. Paul, MN |
